Uhabia beach is located south of the center of the village of Bidart, near Center beach. Located between typical Basque houses and a hill, the beach of Uhabia is crossed by the eponymous river. It is a wide sandy beach, the largest in the town, but also the most accessible.
It has the Handiplage label and is supervised from mid June to the end of October.
Dogs are not allowed during the surveillance period.
It is possible to get there by bike via the Vélodyssée, on foot or by bike via the new Greenway which runs along the Uhabia river, serving many campsites, or even by bus from the “Beach” or “Uhabia” stops.
The beach also has 2 large car parks (paid from June 15 to September 15): a first on rue des Tamaris and a second on avenue d'Espagne.
