Ilbarritz beach

On the edge of Biarritz, Ilbarritz beach is located north of Bidart, below the Château d'Ilbarritz. 

On just over 300 meters of sand, you can fully enjoy this beach on the Basque Coast which is supervised during the summer season. Sports enthusiasts can also indulge in golf on a beautiful course which surrounds & overlooks the beach. 

The beach is equipped with toilets and showers and two restaurants.

Dogs are not permitted during the surveillance period.

The sloping access is designed for people with reduced mobility.

You can get there by bike via the Vélodyssée or by bus from the “Ilbarritz” stop.

For parking, there are two free car parks. The first on avenue d'Ilbarritz also allows you to reach Milady beach in Biarritz and the second is on avenue du Lac.
