Pilotari Ttiki, 25 years of competition

Pilotari Ttiki, understand “Budding pelota player”, is an international Cesta Punta tournament created by the Bidart pelota club “La Kostakoak” in 1999. This year, we will therefore celebrate its 25th anniversary!
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday April 27 and Sunday April 28 to attend the tournament for free and encourage the participating children, aged 7 to 13. Even though the tournament has grown a lot since its beginnings (from 5 to 125 teams), its DNA remains the same with an inclusive value. The objective is to allow smaller and isolated clubs to play competitively whatever their level, it is above all a moment of exchange and gathering.

Pilotari Ttiki gives young people the opportunity puntists (cesta punta players) aged 7 to 13 to participate in a large international gathering of more than 20 clubs, on both sides of the border. Some clubs even come from further afield, notably from the Arcachon Bay, Occitanie or even our dear neighbors in Landes.

New year, new record: in total for 2024, the number of registrations is still on the rise with more than 23 clubs represented, 125 participating teams, or more than 250 children. The future of the Cesta Punta has bright days ahead of it 😉

An eco-responsible sporting event

The Kostakoak organization is not only committed to the sporting level but also to its environmental impact. This is why it adopts an eco-responsible approach thanks to the implementation of several actions during the event. In this context, awareness raising on sorting will be held in partnership with the joint union for the reduction, sorting and recovery of household waste Bil ta Garbi for the provision of sorting containers and dedicated signage. Furthermore, the reduction in plastic waste will be considerable because no plastic water bottles will be distributed. Instead, a personalized water bottle will be offered to each player (we appreciate the gesture) and water fountains will be made available.

Saturday 27/04/2024

• From 9:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m. non-stop: Quinielas
• 19:30 p.m. – 20:30 p.m.: Parade of all participating players in the colors of their clubs followed by musical entertainment from the Trio Kanta group on the kirolak.
• 20:30 p.m. – 22:00 p.m.: Musical entertainment + Spanish Inn* (principle of collaborative dinner: each club brings food or drink)
