It was in the 90s that Philippe Etcheverry, owner of the Irigoian house decided to create the first guest rooms in order to "save" the family house and to devote himself to what he has been doing since: welcoming holidaymakers and pass on to them his passion for the Basque Country and its culture.

Go through the doors of his family home, built on the hill of Ilbarritz since 1648 and you will understand… the walls are steeped in history, the woodwork speaks volumes and the setting is conducive to relaxation and discussion.
