Goicoechea Pottery

Nestled in the heart of the interior Basque Country, on the road to St-Jean-Pied-de-Port, the village of Ossès is home to the Goicoechea family manufacture.
A didactic circuit with a view of the workshops offers educational panels and a film explaining our know-how. Also on site, a vast exhibition presents all the models manufactured in our workshops.

Lorea, the Basque jewel

"Lorea" means the flower in Basque, roundness and elegance, discover the original Lorea creations. This new line of Basque jewelry is created and thought out in the heart of the Basque Country, in the medieval city of St Jean Pied de Port. Inspired by the history of the Basque Country, encounters, Basque culture and its symbols, I chose to work on my jewelry in my workshop-boutique in the historic center of the village ”. Julian the Potter

After a professional reconversion, Juliens turned to pottery.

Now in Ascain, at the foot of the Rhune, he makes utility pieces, inspired by his passions, particularly the ocean. He lets the clay guide him and decide in what form it wants to come to life. Leave him the choice. Then, he gives it a personalized touch, an identity.

Introductory courses are possible by appointment.
