Boom, you may already know this but this year the Basque pelota world championships are taking place very close to home! And when we say at home, we're not completely lying since Bidart hosts the meetings of one of the most popular disciplines around the globe: Frontball.

3 days – 35 countries – 5 continents

From October 23 to 26, the Kirolak sports complex switches to Frontball mode and deploys new stands to welcome pelota aficionados.

The Kirolak will therefore vibrate for 3 days to the rhythm of the games which will oppose men's and women's teams from more than 30 nations from 5 continents! 🌎

So Frontball? What is that ?

It is a modern, accessible and universal sport. It opposes two players, in "one against one", facing a wall and the exchanges must take place within play areas. Pretty easy to set up, right?
In short, take a wall, a chalk to draw lines and regulate the playing area, a ball and you're done.

Now that you have the basics, all you have to do is try it... and it immediately becomes more sporty and technical 😎👋⚾

While waiting to find you a sponsor, we invite you to (re)discover this sport on Sunday from the stands of Kirolak...

Guaranteed atmosphere, guaranteed competition, and I don't think I'm going too far in assuring you that there will be winners and losers… And entertainment!! 🤩
