He grew up with his little sisters between the church, the pediment and the town hall… His playground - when he is not on the slopes. kantxa of the Basque Country - this is the terrace of the hotel-restaurant-bar-trinquet Elissaldia, an institution in Bidart, run by his family since 1945… You might as well say that Peio is a child of Bidart, a real one!
Those who know Bidart have inevitably had a drink, ate a combined dish or a line hake at one of the tables in the Elissaldia restaurant; on the terrace in the shade of the plane trees or in the dining room by the fireplace with a view of the trinquet.
Those who have not yet been there will necessarily walk past and stop there ... the bar restaurant opens directly onto the Savior Atchoarena square, the heart of the village, and ... when you pass by, the balls banging against the walls of the trinquet arouse curiosity!
