Drop off your bags at one of our accessible campsites, hotels or tourist residences.
Find yourself facing the infinity of the Ocean at Julien's hotel Miléade The Frigate. With these two PMR rooms on the ground floor you will be opposite Uhabia Beach, what is more, is a disabled beach.
You have the possibility in season to rent tiralos from the Bidart Tourist Office.
Right in the town center, stay at Koskenia, the inn on Place Sauveur Atchoarena. The triple PMR room overlooks the square with a magnificent view of the Rhune.
On the camping side, the Oyam Campsite has a mobile home accessible for 6 people with the campsite swimming pool accessible.
For a little more independence, opt for Goxoki and its PMR-equipped studio. Or the residence Sea & Golf and its PMR apartment for 4 people

Ona pilota

Come visit Patxi & Jon Tambourindeguy from the Ona Pilota workshop. The two brothers, Chistera champions, open their workshop for repairing and manufacturing chistera gloves to teach you more about Basque pelota! From the different types of games to the fields and balls, you'll quickly become an expert on this sport that's so popular in our region!
Visits to the workshop are subject to a fee and are by appointment.

The Chapel of the Madeleine
Right next to the central Sauveur Atchoarena square (which is accessible) is the Chapel of the Madeleine. From there you can see the Atlantic Ocean and the Spanish coast. (If the sky is clear… because don’t forget that we are in the Basque Country 🙂 )

The ENS space of Erretegia
Erretegia Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Bidart. The accessible viewpoint offers a breathtaking panorama of Erretegia and its renatured natural area (ENS).
The path down to the bottom is only accessible by electric wheelchair.

Pili Tafernaberry Square
Pili Tafernaberry Square, behind Place de Bidart and opposite at the Art Gallery of Bidart of the same name, offers you an exceptional panorama of the Basque Pyrenees. From there you will see the famous mountains here, the Atzamendi, the Ursuya or even the Rhune (PS: A rack railway provides access to the summit of the Rhune, and it is accessible to folding wheelchairs!

Greenway of Uhabia
The Uhabia greenway is an accessible walk starting near Uhabia Beach. It more or less follows the Uhabia River and takes you to the Moulin de Bassilour after 3km. The trail is well-maintained and fully accessible throughout the walk.

You are interested by a guided tour? Please note that we offer guided tours on Wednesdays (during school holidays) by reservation (directly at the Tourist Office or by telephone).
Don't forget to tell us that you have reduced mobility so that we can adapt it.

Enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the Village Square in one of the welcoming terraces: Elissaldia, Fronton Bar or, KoskeniaFor a coffee, a sunny lunch or an aperitif, these terraces offer you THE ideal setting to spend a pleasant moment.


After a stroll along the greenway, come and have lunch at Bassilour Mill Restaurant to enjoy the green setting of the restaurant.
Want to taste local specialties? The Gaxuxa Sale is the perfect place, a traditional restaurant that celebrates the richness of Basque products.

- Sauveur Atchoarena Square, where the the steps, bare-handed pelota games, the gatherings of mutxiko, the appointments of Bidaten Kantuz, Wednesday evening shows “Places for artists » in season, the carnival, the parade of Chapter of the Brotherhood of Chipiron as well as Basque dance shows.
- The Grand Fronton municipal, which hosts sporting events such as pelota games in Grand Chistera, the Basque Force galas, Talo's evenings at the mouth, and events fall holidays.
- The Kirolak, where the tournaments of the Pilotari Ttiki and the Uhabiako Txapelketa.
- The Toki-Toki media library, which organizes various workshops, readings and conferences.
