The House of Uhabia

A stone's throw from the eponymous beach, Raphaëlle & Julien have opened a place imbued with conviviality, shared cuisine and revisited local flavors. Here all the senses are awakened: the embers flavor the dishes, the playlist and the mottled furniture invite you to escape, the wines bring people together and you will have understood that everything is in place to enjoy a quality moment.

We won't say more, it's up to you to find out...

Oh yes, upstairs Raphaëlle introduced us to the double rooms and the family room of this lovely house from the 30s, tastefully redecorated.

Chixko

This establishment has just opened on the heights of the Bidart plateau with its terrace facing the Erretegia valley and since the opening, when you approach it, you can smell the delicious aromas that emanate from this "smokehouse".
Here we come for the home cooking and the original à la carte flavors: churrasco, smoked pastrami, pickles & house condiments, fries in two cookings…
The last ingredients added to this tasty cocktail to make this single establishment : an offbeat atmosphere and a credo that we like: good heart, good food !

Koskenia

The inn on Place de Bidart has had a makeover… It wasn't very old, however, but Joris & Jimmy added their touch by taking over the business in June.
On the menu, there is change, we now find txulet to share, cooking on the grill, tatakis and other local delicacies!
Conviviality and the view of the square and the pediment remain at the rendezvous.

Convenient take-out kitchen!

blackguard

Here is a name that makes you smile for a butcher, rotisserie, caterer who wants to shake up the codes of traditional rotisserie.

Philippe, the owner opened this gourmet address this spring and offers various formulas of convivial cuisine: roast chickens from the Landes, skewers, catering services, gourmet cured meats...

The Canaille rotisserie butcher is also a member of the FFA, the famous French Federation of Apéro!

For orders it goes through leaves!

The Erretegia Cheese Factory

It has barely opened its doors, it is the youngest and is already delighting us with its diversity of cheeses and dairy delights! The Erretegia cheese dairy and creamery offers a fine selection of products and composes your trays for meals and aperitifs with family or friends!

The Uhabia rotisserie

A stone's throw from the beach, in the commercial area of Zirlinga, a new sign has just been installed: the Uhabia rotisserie.

The scent of roast free-range chicken speaks volumes about the quality of the product and whets the appetite.

Here we choose chicken in all its forms: to take away and share with cooked potatoes, to taste in thighs or drumsticks or even to take to the beach in a picnic version accompanied by chips 😋🍽️.

They opened out of season & moved to Daylight Saving Time...

Ezkia

Marine & Olivier have taken over the premises of this beautiful address in the center of Bidart to create Ezkia. An intimate and eco-responsible gourmet restaurant where everything is chosen with the greatest attention.
Olivier in the kitchen, and Marine in the service, offer a discovery menu or à la carte dishes and make a point of honor to the quality and origins of their products.
After several years in large houses, they chose to open their business in this charming cocoon, a stone's throw from Place Sauveur Atchoarena: parquet floor, exposed stones, background music, here, everything is gathered for a moment of relaxation. 'exception.

The six seasons

Nestled at the foot of the church, this new address calls out by its name which speaks volumes: in the past, in the Basque calendar, there were 6 seasons...

Here, now, the menu changes with the seasons, depending on the arrival and harvest of local products, but also according to the creativity and desires of the chef & the team. In all cases, the products come from agriculture and local production, in short circuits and fresh of course.

Bon appétit!
