How to come to
The St. Magdalene chapel is very old. This saint was cherished by the Compostella pilgrims. According to one tradition, some sailors were buried before its door. It was destroyed by a storm in 1817 and rebuilt in 1820.
The Chapel of St. Joseph is located in the Parlementia neighbourhood. From its vast porch, boasting a special holy water basin, ceremonies can be followed. This porch may have been the section reserved for the "cagots" (reputed to be descendants of lepers).
The Chapel of Ur Onea (the good water) is a site of pilgrimage. The statue of the Virgin is said to have been discovered on the very spot where it is now displayed. According to local legend, it was once moved to the church only to return by itself the next day. The spring next to the chapel (now unfit for drinking) was reputed as a remedy for skin deseases. the chapel was built in 1704.
